Brief:
To create an annual report that showcases NLB’s role in Singapore and its adaptation to the evolving digital landscape of libraries.
Drawing inspiration from publications like Wired and Fast Company, I incorporated a sleek and contemporary style to reflect NLB’s integration of technology into its services. I introduced gradients to achieve a forward-thinking look and maintained text clarity to emphasise NLB’s commitment to accessibility. Additionally, NLB’s core colours and integrated geometric shapes to showcase its ongoing evolution while preserving its long-established identity. This approach positioned the report as both a tribute to NLB’s heritage and a response to shifting digital demands.
I worked as the design lead, setting timelines and liaising directly with the client. This helped me strengthen my skills in managing client expectations. The project proceeded smoothly and required minimal revisions. The client was pleased with the balance of tradition and innovation in the first draft.
